How To Stay Motivated Every Day

When you wake up in the morning, what is your first thought? Does the way you wake up or your first thought of the day begin with positive action? If you are answering that with a heck no, or if you’re saying, Yea right, I can barely manage to get my feet out of bed, let alone do a positive action, then I am here to help you change the way you look at your day.

Having motivation every day is easier said than done. I know this first hand, as I have the utmost challenge of staying motivated each day. I have a busy every day life and some days I feel downright defeated. I mean I think we can all agree that staying motivated is a challenge within itself. #AMIRIGHT

I digress. Look, staying motivated can be done. It starts off by having a goal or a desire to fulfill something for yourself. Then it’s setting up the game plan. The what, how and why process. Ultimately, you start working on this newfound goal, task or desire, and then seek the fulfillment of accomplishment.  Along the way we find things to keep us motivated and that’s the key to success. To keep up with staying motivated and determined.

How To Stay Motivated Every Day

The what of your motivation

Maybe you want to lose weight. Maybe you want to learn a new hobby or ditch a bad habit. Whatever your what is for finding motivation you have to remember to always follow through.

When you have gotten so far on the path of your goal and you stumble, don’t let it get you down. Just think, I have gotten this far, am I going to stop now?! You can’t and you won’t. Tell yourself that. Believe in yourself and believe in your affirmations.

Figuring out what your goal is that you want to achieve is the first step, so dive deep and find a goal that will make you happy and ultimately be the best version of you.

The how of your motivation

How will you achieve your goal or desire? Well, setting yourself up for success is the way to start. Figure out a plan and stick to it. Have a back up plan for when days do not go as planned because it will happen.

Strive to be your best–and not for perfection. When I am trying to find motivation every day I write myself reminder notes. I also think about my plan to reach the finish line. I know I need to stick to this if I want to succeed.

Keep motivated daily by staying positive, consistently, every day.

The why of your motivation

Everyone has a why, a reason, or a prediction of the outcome of their goal.

A few questions to figure this out are… Why do I want this? Do I want this for someone else or solely for myself.?

Then, dig deeper.

When you have a reason, that alone will keep you motivated every day. A reason allows you to to get up each day and say, I can do this! Furthermore, having a good reason allows you to get up on bad days. So, figure out your reason of of your goal or desire and that will keep you on the right path to staying motivated.

Staying motivated every day

For starters, create a to-do list or some kind of a check off list. Use your reminders or notes app on your phone or do the good old fashion method of physically writing it down on paper. Whatever the method, create the list and do it with full intention.

Creating a bullet list of some sort helps to remind you of your why. Another great tool is finding books or podcasts to keep you motivated. Look up motivational podcasts in your search engine or read a book written by the top motivational speakers. These are just a few ideas and tools to help you along the way.

Staying motivated isn’t easy but it doesn’t have to be hard either. From daily affirmations to  writing in a journal, here are my top tips/tools to help you get started:

  • Daily affirmations help to incorporate a positive day. Write them down or say them out loud
  • Take notes – this will help you so much in the long run.
  • Follow through. The biggest challenge is sticking to your goal.
  • Swoosh away any negativity. I highly recommend choosing a doctor that’s best for you and you needs.
  • Journal. write in it, all the the thoughts to keep you motivated and some of your favorite quotes to keep you inspired.

You can find so many tools and resources the right way and the best way. Remember not to rely on anyone else but yourself for motivation. Keep your head up, even on the bad days. There will always be a light at the end of the tunnel.

What have you done recently that calls for staying motivated daily?
