It is always a good idea to practice good habits that nourish your body. When you make a daily routine become a habit, it gives you a higher chance to succeed.

Establishing good habits is an accomplishment in and of itself. But practicing these good habits to nourish your body will lead to more self fulfillment.

Finding a good habit to nourish your body will lead to better self care, self nourishment and an overall better mood. At times, you may have days where you may not feel motivated, while other days you are motivated to do it all.

On the days that you aren’t that motivated, it’s perfectly ok to feel that way. But don’t dwell on the lack of motivation. Instead, allow yourself to fail, and start again the next day. Don’t give up.

Exercise 

Any type of workout will help your body improve itself.

Movement

Any kind of movement will help get your heart pumping. It’s always good to get some kind of movement in your day for good heart health.

Take Vitamins

I have a morning and night regimen for vitamins. I take them daily, and I feel so much better when I take them consistently.

Plus vitamins can really help give your body any nourishment that you may be lacking. Be sure to check with your doctor before you change or add anything to your medication and diet. 

Nourish Your Skin 

Your skin needs a little love too. Make sure to moisturize your skin daily and also take care of the quickest aging areas like your face, neck and hands.

The science behind this is really incredible. When you dive into this rabbit hole, you will learn about how connected our minds are with our bodies. And how things like stress can affect our digestion and how our bodies function.

Eat More Veggies

Veggies are power. They give our bodies great nourishment throughout the day.

Get More Sleep

Restful sleep can really help to start your morning in a positive way. When you don’t get enough sleep it can really affect your whole day and how you feel.

Stretch Every Morning

This simple 5-10 min habit can help you start off your day and will help wake up your body.

Get Some Natural Sunlight

A good dose of natural vitamin D can really give your body the nourishment it needs. Feeling under the weather? Sit out in the sun for 10 mins and the natural sunlight will help nourish your body!

Go To Bed Earlier

Put down the phone at least an hour before your bedtime. Go to bed at an earlier time and your body will thank you.

Our bodies truly function better without caffeine. Try letting go of your daily cup of joe for a while and you’ll notice the difference.

Another simple yet powerful habit to nourish the body. In other words, don’t take shortcuts or the elevator. Take the stairs if at all possible.

If you work a desk job like me, then you know good posture is important. It can be hard to keep up but with good practice, your posture can help your body stay aligned and with less back/neck problems.

Stand When Possible 

Being sedentary for long periods of time is really bad for your body. Stand when at all possible. take quick breaks to get some steps in.

Meditate

This great habit helps not only your mind, but it helps your body too.

 This will help you body relax, recharge and will make you more likely to have good movement throughout the day!
