Drugstore Makeup That Is Better Than Higher End Products

If you like budget-friendly makeup that is also great quality, then this article is for you! It’s often so hard to find good makeup at an affordable price. This list of drugstore makeup that is better than higher end products will blow your mind.

Look, high end makeup is great! But even then, some higher end makeup has its fair share of issues too. From making you breakout to not lasting long enough or easy shed.

No one wants to wear makeup that only lasts a few hours or that comes off easily half way through the day. We want something on our face that feels like we’re not wearing anything at all. We want long lasting, sweat proof, great quality makeup.

Believe it or not, you can find that at a normal drugstore too! We want all of this, at a budget friendly price.

If you have been searching far and wide for the best makeup dupes that are just as good, if not better than the higher end brands, then look no further! I’ve collected some of the best drugstore makeup, some of which I use daily and always get complimented on my look. I personally love the less-is-more look.

I don’t like heavy foundation, I don’t like clumpy mascara, and I like for my makeup to have great and even coverage, without compromising the au natural look.

Here is a full list of drugstore makeup that’s better than higher end products:

L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara – I love this mascara and use it every day! This gives lots of volume and helps accentuate my lashes by also separating them and giving them a nice fan effect.

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara – I also use this one daily. This gives more intense volume and is great for a dramatic effect.

When I combine this with the mascara listed above, it gives me an almost fake lashes look for a night out on the town. For daily use, I use one coat and it’s more than enough.

E.L.F. Eyelid Primer – Great eyelid primer to begin your eyeshadow process. Works just as great as higher end brands.

E.L.F. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen – This eyeliner is a good go to for a smudge proof cat eye. It’ll give you perfect lines that will last all day long!

Milani Clear Eyebrow Gel – This eyebrow gel is great to keep your eyebrows in place. It doesn’t really flake and it doesn’t feel stiff. Can’t even tell I have it on until I look in the mirror and see how great my eyebrows look.

Maybelline Eyeshadow Palette – I love great nude colors for eyeshadow. This palette is great and stays on all day. I use the E.L.F Eyelid primer first before applying my eyeshadow and it looks just as good as an Anastasia of Beverly Hills palette!

NYX Professional Makeup Ultimate Shadow Palette – I have used various NYX eyeshadows throughout the years and they never disappoint. They have only got better with time. They are soft, apply well, don’t crease, and last all day!

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Lip – One of my all time favorites. Not only does it stay on the entire day, it will survive all day mask wearing too! Once it’s on it won’t come off until you use waterproof makeup remover.

Even regular makeup remover won’t really remove it. I always get complements on this one. The best part is I can eat some greasy tacos and don’t even have to reapply! It is seriously amazing!

The Lip Bar Vegan Matte Liquid Lipstick – This one has a supple softness and also stays on almost the entire day. I usually have to retouch a little but the outline of it remains throughout the day. I love a good matte lipstick and I discovered this one late last year and is my new favorite. Doesn’t smudge or transfer!

Sephora Collection Liquid Matte Lip Stain – This one also last most of the day. I had quite a few friends tell me about this one.

Their variety of colors is pretty impressive. It’s soft, non-transferable, and long lasting.

L’Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation Makeup with SPF 17 – This affordable foundation has great sunscreen protection while also being really blendable! Lasts throughout the day, too.

Maybelline Super Stay Full Coverage Liquid Foundation – This is a great full coverage foundation and just like its lipstick it really is a super stay foundation without the heavy feeling. I am amazed at the quality of this drugstore foundation!

Primers/Setting Spray

Neutrogena Cosmetics Prep + Correct Primers – These primers really are great! They have one for redness, for even tone, and then just a normal primer for minimal coverage. Applying this before your foundation will allow you to use less foundation too!

E.L.F Mist and Set Spray – I use this after my makeup is finished to set it, and it really helps to hold everything in place without having a weird feeling. They have both a dewy and a matte option for the finish of your preference.

This list is just a portion of the variety of drugstore makeup you can find at an affordable price. I use both both higher end and drugstore makeup combined!

You don’t always have to break the bank to get good quality makeup. With articles like this, and reading all the reviews on the products, you can find affordable and great quality drugstore makeup.
