I’m going to be real with you—the shorter my workouts the better. I don’t know what it is, because I’m happy to go on a two-hour hike, but when I see a class time with “60 minutes” next to it, I groan.
Usually, though, once I’m 15-20 minutes in, I’m happy to be there and the next 40 minutes fly by. So, sometimes, I “trick” myself into wanting to work out by telling myself I’m only going to work out for 15 minutes. Ninety percent of the time I end up extending my workout because the endorphins are flowing and I’m enjoying the workout!
