What To Do If You Are Missing The Eras Tour

It’s been an Eras Tour world and we’ve been living in it for two years now. All good things must come to an end though. We will surely miss the friendship bracelets, the surprise songs, and all the memories we made, whether you went to a concert or saw it in theaters.

If you find yourself missing that feeling that we’ve had this whole time watching the Eras tour unfold, I’ve got some things you can do. First, let’s take a look back at some of the most memorable moments of the Eras Tour.

10 of the Most Memorable Moments Of The Eras Tour

All The Surprise Guests

From Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff to Ed Sheeran and Hayley Williams. We’ve had so many guests come out on the Eras Tour stage to play with Taylor. Most of this happened during the surprise songs set, but we also got a few bonus performances in the perspective eras.

This happened when the Haim sisters joined Taylor during the evermore set to sing no body, no crime and Ice Spice joined Taylor at the end of the show to sing the Karma remix one night. Then, during the European leg of the tour, Florence Welch joined Taylor on stage to sing Florida!!! during The Tortured Poets Department set.

Karma Gets An Upgrade

Karma isn’t the guy on the screen anymore, and Taylor wanted to make sure we knew that. During Travis Kelce’s first tour stop she changed the lyrics from her song Karma. What once was, “karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me.” is now, “karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.” We love seeing her in love.

Speak Now (TV) Announcement

During Taylor’s stop in Nashville on May 5, 2023 she had a surprise for us all when she announced that Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) would be coming in a few months. Of course, in true Taylor style there were lots of easter eggs dropped before the announcement. However, nothing compares to the rush of excitement you get when you realize you are in the middle of a Taylor Swift album announcement.

1989 (TV) Announcement

When it came time to announce the next rerecord, Taylor switched things up on us by bringing out new outfits to celebrate, and hint at, the occasion at one of her L.A. shows.

When it came time for the surprise songs we were seeing blue and ready for the announcement. She gave us what we wanted by announcing 1989 (Taylor’s Version) would be ours on October 27, 2023.

Earthquake At The Eras Tour

There may have been too much shaking by fans during the Shake It Off performance at the Seattle shows. The fans seemed to have caused seismic activity equivalent to a 2.3 magnitude earthquake.

Taylor Defended A Fan

This was one of the more iconic moments of the Eras Tour. During a Philadelphia show as a security officer was trying to reprimand a concert goer. Taylor happened to see it and insisted that the fan wasn’t doing anything. She semi-interrupted her performance of Bad Blood to tell the officer to leave the fan alone.

I say semi because she flawlessly transitioned from calling out the security officer to singing. And, I think the fact that this happened during the song Bad Blood is what made the situation even more iconic.

I Can See You Music Video

Album announcements weren’t the only thing we were treated to during this tour. Concert goers at a Kansas City show got to see the premiere of the I Can See You music video with the video’s stars Joey King, Presley Cash, and Taylor Lautner in attendance.

Tortured Poets Gets Added To The Set List

After a break to release her The Tortured Poets Department album, we were all left wondering, “will this album get represented during the Eras Tour?” Our suspicions were correct because Taylor did in fact add a TTPD set to the show. She had to cut some songs, and she also combined the folklore and evermore sets, but she made it work.

Travis Kelce Joins Taylor On Stage

Travis Kelce has been to several of Taylor’s shows. During one of the London shows he joined the fun by going on stage with her and her dancers. This happened during the bit right before the song I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.

All The 22 Hat Moments

The whole show is amazing, but there is one part in particular that makes me cry everytime, and that is the 22 hat moment. Seeing the emotion in the kids’ faces and how happy Taylor is to see them gets me everytime I see a video. It’s such a heartfelt moment in the show and something that I’ll definitely miss watching on TikTok every weekend.

Now that we’ve gone down memory lane, let’s figure out what we are going to do when we are missing all these memories.

7 Activities To Do When Your Missing The Eras Tour

These seven activities will help with a variety of things. From fun nights out to commemorating your Eras Tour experience, I’ve got seven different options for you.

Watch The Eras Tour On Disney+

Thankfully, we can watch the Eras Tour anytime we want to since it is streaming on Disney+.  Whether you want to put on the performance of your life along with Taylor, or get cozy and sing along, you can do it in the comfort of your own home now.

The benefits of this is you can pause at any moment to go to the bathroom or grab a snack, you have the best view of the show, and you can still have the time of your life.

Have An Eras Tour Themed Party

Keep the Eras party going by throwing a literal party. You can get a countless amount of ideas for this from TikTok and Pinterest. Have your friends show up as their favorite Taylor era, get the Taylor playlist going, and go all out. You and your friends can even put on your own Eras Tour performances.

Go To A Taylor Swift Themed Club Night

If you want your celebration to be a little bigger than a small party with friends, find a Taylor Swift themed club night closest to you. I’ve been to a local one of these and the vibes are so fun! I’d love to find another one to go to and experience it all again.

Buy The Eras Tour Book If You’re Missing The Eras Tour

In October it was announced that Taylor would be releasing an Eras Tour Book to be sold at Target. This would be a great purchase to make if you want to always have a piece of the tour with you. The book looks gorgeous and I’m excited to have mine.

Have A Taylor Swift Themed Photo Shoot

Relive the Eras from your perspective. I did this years ago, before the tour was even a thing. It was the most fun I’d had in a long time at that point.

I took my versions of the album covers and did fun TikToks. It may take some time to do all 11 eras, it took me two days and I only had nine eras to do then. It makes for a fun project though.

Had too much fun embracing my inner Taylor Swift for this. Lots more content from this coming throughout the day. 💜 #taylorswift #swifttok

Make Or Buy Tour Memorabilia

If you were lucky enough to go to an actual show during the Eras Tour, there are a variety of ways to commemorate your experience. Etsy has some great handmade options, from t-shirts to ornaments, and everything in-between.

Something that I think is great to do is to make your own shadow box filled with all your tour memories. Some examples of things you can put in there are friendship bracelets, your wristband, photos, etc..

Go To Another Live Show

As much as we love Taylor, you may need to do a little reflecting at this point. Are you missing the Eras Tour specifically, or just the live show feeling?

If it’s the latter the good news is that many other artists are doing shows, or planning to start their tour soon. See about getting tickets to one of them or try to find a livestream online.

Final Thoughts On How To Handle Missing The Eras Tour

These activities may not replace the feeling of the Eras Tour, but they’ll definitely be fun ways to reminisce and keep the swiftie magic going. So which ones will you be doing? Let me know in the comments.
